Fueled by Personal Experience and Passion

Kanbar Foundation was founded by Khalil Kanbar, a first-generation college student who experienced firsthand the challenges and rewards of pursuing higher education. After graduating from the University of San Diego in California, Khalil was inspired to give back to his community and help others facing similar obstacles. Driven by his own journey and passion for education, Khalil established the Kanbar Foundation to provide scholarship funding, mentorship, and resources to first-generation college students, empowering them to overcome barriers and achieve success in their academic pursuits and beyond. Through our collective efforts, we strive to create a brighter future for these deserving students and the communities they will impact.
