Being the first in my family to go to college is one of my proudest achievements, yet I can't say I was able to do it alone. With the help of the Kanbar Foundation and its generous scholarship, I was able to finish my final year of college with the peace of mind that I'll be graduating practically debt free. Beyond the financial help, I also took advantage of the mentorships provided as I was traversing my first steps in my profession post-grad. The guidance I received from the Kanbar Foundation allowed me to set solid groundwork in my early career. I've since hit the ground running, and I can't thank the Kanbar Foundation enough for making it happen!

I'm incredibly thankful to have been awarded a scholarship from the Kanbar Foundation, which has been a game-changer during my first year of college. Coming from a low-income family, the financial challenges of pursuing higher education seemed daunting. This scholarship, however, has allowed me to cover crucial expenses, from tuition to textbooks, significantly easing the financial burden on both me and my family. It's been more than just monetary aid; it's given me peace of mind and allowed my family to breathe easier, knowing that I have some aid in the cost of my education. My heartfelt gratitude goes to the Kanbar Foundation for their support and for making my first year of college possible.
